Our Online News department is expanding!! As a newly established Multimedia Organisation, we have decided to recruit students who are determined to build their résumé and set themselves apart in terms of strengthening their academic portfolios and increasing the prospects of finding permanent employment in the mainstream field of journalism.

Final year students or graduates with a journalism qualification, who are willing to submit news articles on a weekly basis, to be published on our fast-growing News Section can apply. This internship programme does not come with any form of remuneration as yet. However, we do see it as an opportunity for unemployed students to showcase their skills, enhance their CV’s, and prove their worth to potential employers from the country’s top media houses.

Required Competencies:

– Be self motivated and proactive
– Have an exceptionally high work ethic
– Be active on at least 2 social media platforms
– Be a passionate, conscious and avid news reader
– Have excellent writing and verbal communication skills
– Have the desire to learn about Content Management Software

NB: You will be working according to your own pace and schedule that fits seamlessly into your school work, private and social life. Equally so, the number of news articles to be submitted (per week or month) shall be determined based on your own discretion and capacity.
