Black First Land First (BLF) is delighted to finally announce the venue of the National Land Imbizo to be held on 27 May 2017 in Soweto. The Land Imbizo was almost sabotaged by political parties who claim to fight for land but are going around intimidating venue managers who allow BLF to use their venues.

BLF is happy to announce that the much anticipated Land Imbizo will be held at Mofolo Park, Soweto (Five Roses Bowl). All black political parties have been invited. Also to be engaged are the MK war veterans and the APLA veterans because BLF believes they fought for land but it has not yet returned.

The Imbizo is above party political differences. It’s about supporting the call made by President Jacob Zuma for land expropriation without compensation. We want our land back now without further delays.

The Land Imbizo will be attended by all black people across South Africa. Voices of the farm workers, labour tenants, restitution claimants, evicted people, backyard dwellers, bond home owners, the shack dwellers, shall be heard.

The Land Imbizo will close with a Land Now Declaration and a free music concert. Details can be found below.
